Style Secret: Inspired Office Wear

When I got the call that I had landed a corporate gig, I was ecstatic. I couldn’t wait to get back to office life and be mentally stimulated and challenged again, but it wasn’t long after I popped some celebratory bubbles that I thought, “I have nothing to wear!”.

Luckily, as an avid blog reader, I knew just where to turn to for 9-5 style inspiration.

I knew that I had a few pieces in my wardrobe that would work, I just needed to know how to make them work.

That’s when I turned to some of my favourite fashion bloggers who are known for having stellar 9-5 looks.

Here are three workplace style bloggers I love:

Atlantic- Pacific

Blair Eadie runs the wildly successful blog, Atlantic-Pacific and somehow also balances being the Director of Accessories at Tory Burch. She is a female-phenom, giving many ladies in the business world corporate and closet envy. She is known for mixing Chanel with Banana Republic, and Valentino with J.Crew allowing us all to envision recreating her fabulous looks, minus the Valentino and Chanel if you’re in my snack bracket. I not only admire her fashion sense, but also her drive to have it all.

Rach Martino

Rachel is a Southern transplant living in the Big Apple who is the former Community Manager for Origins. She recently left the company to pursue blogging full-time but that hasn’t stopped her from posting some great 9-5 looks. I would describe her style as fun and feminine with a youthful but classic twist. She doesn’t shy away from colour, or the camera. With her energy and drive, she might just be the next big thing.

Bows & Sequins

When I was first introduced to Jess she was a mid-west girl in NYC, now she’s back in Chicago and is blogging full-time. On top of the blog, she recently launched a clothing line in collaboration with Evine Live. Her style is polished and playful, and her posts and clothing line reflect that. Jess is all about remixing old favourites and finding new versatile pieces to add to your wardrobe to shake things up.  She has definitely made me look at my closet differently!
