Photo Diary: Isle of Elba

elba island

Wow. What a whirlwind of a week.

Last Sunday, we arrived on the beautiful Isle of Elba, the third largest island in Italy. The rain that had persisted in Bologna was subsiding and we were finally able to get some Vitamin D.

The Isle of Elba is beautiful. Consumed by rich vegetation and surrounded by aqua marine water, countless villages to explore both seaside and on the hilltops – there is so much to do on the island.

In the coming weeks, I will be talking more about the Isle of Elba and our epic week exploring Rome and Florence, but for now I am exhausted and need a day to regain my blogging brain.

Today I’ll leave you with some photos of Elba; I hope you enjoy and you’ll hear more from me tomorrow!
