Travel Channels That Inspire Wanderlust

From blogs to YouTube, SnapChat, Instagram and more, it’s easy to catch a case of wanderlust in this day and age. So much so, that sometimes it can feel that everyone and their grandmother is off on some grand adventure.

But the travel blogging/ vlogging community isn’t about sharing their adventures to put them on an unreachable pedestal. It’s quite the reverse.

The majority share with the world in an attempt to let us all know that if you want to travel the world and/ or live a different type of lifestyle, it can be done. Regardless of where you come from or what budget you may have, catching a case of wanderlust can be easily cured, if you are willing to take a little risk.

Here are three YouTube travel channels guaranteed to inspire wanderlust:

Reserve Channel- EX-PATS

The Reserve Channel prides itself on providing once-in-a-lifetime access to some of the worlds most exotic locations and interesting people. Therefore, it’s no surprise they would have a show dedicated to individuals who have ditched the monotony of their North American life in an effort to find a life worthy of living. Hosted by Savannah Jane Buffet (Jimmy’s daughter) EX-PATS tells the story of people who prove life isn’t about “I can’t” but “I can and I will”.

Mr. Ben Brown

I stumbled upon Mr. Ben Brown on Instagram and have been hooked ever since. Ben is a daily YouTuber who posts videos documenting his travels and other hobbies, ranging from kayaking to sand-boarding and literally everything in between. Lucky for viewers, his videos are just as diverse as his hobbies.

His channel is full of beautiful visual videos, GoPro adventure videos and fun videos featuring his girlfriend (Nicole Eddy) and other Vlogging friends. If you’re looking for a channel to inspire your #wanderlust and/or #relationshipgoals, Ben’s channel is for you.

The Blonde Abroad

Kiersten from The Blonde Abroad is one of my favourite bloggers and is known for making travel fun, fashionable and affordable. She has travelled to over 45 countries and has been offering her followers a sneak-peak into her adventures on her YouTube channel. From Sardinia to Iceland, Memphis and more, Kiersten offers destination videos, as well as a wide range of fashion and travel-tip content.

She also recently started a second YouTube channel worth checking out, The Getaway Girls.

What are your favourite YouTube travel channels, or sites that have inspired wanderlust in you?
